For his second session, Dr. Shaddix challenged consider their roles as shepherd if they choose to accept such a calling. He dives into 1 Peter 5. Summary of Session: 2 Questions: 1. Are you ready for the coming persecution? 2. For his first session, Dr. Shaddix challenged those in attendance to truly consider if the calling of ministry is on their lives because it comes at a cost as taught by Jesus in Luke 9:57-62 Summary of session: As you discern a call to ministry, some things to consider: 1. Reputation and resources at stake. 2. Religion is a safe place. 3. Relationships are strong.  Would you like to reconsider? Are you truly feeling a call to ministry? It comes at a cost.
