Beskrivelse

🧜🏼‍♂️"You shouldn't have had to give up your voice to be heard."🧜🏼‍♀️ Do you ever desperately wish that someone, anyone, was hearing you? Truly listening, truly seeing you and understanding your point of voice? Unfortunately we all know what it's like to feel angry, defeated, and backed into a corner. And we see Ariel feel this way too in The Little Mermaid, which leads her down a path of regret with Ursula. But we also see, through King Triton's own character development, his love for her, sacrifice for her, and his path to truly listening to her. His relationship to her is a beautiful shadow of the immense love that God the Father has for each of us, and the sacrifice He willingly gave to have a relationship with us. God hears us, knows us intimately, and is with us every step of the way. Listen in to hear more about The Little Mermaid remake and our gospel connections with it!

The Faithful Fan, Ep. 408: "How Ariel's Grotto Can Bring Us Closer to God"

"A ship in the harbor is safe, but that is not what a ship is built for." This was an exciting opportunity to speak with the community group Uncommon, hosted by my good friend Chris Williams! I have been absolutely loving the newest Little Mermaid movie, and wanted to talk more in depth about Ariel's grotto, what and where our own personal grotto is, and how that can also bring us closer to God. Listen in, and I hope this will be encouraging for you and maybe also prompt some good questions for your own faith journey!
