In the final episode of the series, Mr Sync aka Alex joins Elle to reminisce on this summer's Glasto (drink every time they mention it) and assert that no one's too cool for Coldplay. Alex pinpoints freedom as the focus of Fly Yellow Moon by Fyfe Dangerfield based purely on the artwork alone, they chat about the joy in whimsical songs and the power of discovering music as a teenager. Elle runs through the unknowable clarity of Painless by Nilüfer Yanya and how it resonates for reasons unknown and they celebrate music that sounds like a stream of consciousness with a little detour discussing Jamie's next tattoo. Elle and Danielle also don't hold back as they delve into heavy music and heavy topics, covering everything from death, drugs and music as social commentary. But it's all tempered with a shout-out for N Dubz and their love (and relief) at having Brixton Academy back and better than ever.
