Four or five years ago, I was a completely different person. I hit the snooze button. I ate junk food regularly. I drank more alcohol than I should have. I lacked discipline, consistency, and structure. Looking back, I call that version of myself the “shitty version” of Chris La Forgia. Then something changed. While working out at the gym a couple of years ago, I found myself thinking back to my soccer career and the mindset I had as a competitor. I hated losing. I loved winning. Every game had a scoreboard. That’s when a simple question popped into my head: What if I treated life the same way? What if my habits became the scoreboard?
