The Power of Persuasion

Persuasion is a powerful force in our lives. Every day, we are bombarded with messages that seek to persuade us—advertisements, news reports, social media influencers, and personal relationships. Some persuasion is beneficial, while other influences lead us astray. In Acts 26, we see three different responses to Paul's message: Festus dismisses it, Agrippa hesitates, and Paul is fully persuaded. The question we must ask ourselves today is: Who do you allow to persuade you?

God's Timing Not Ours

Waiting is one of the hardest things in life. We live in a culture that values speed—fast food, instant messaging, and same-day shipping. But God's timing often operates on a different schedule.

Hot Tempers & Cooler Heads

We live in an age of outrage. Everywhere you look, people are ready to explode—on social media, in traffic, at work, even in churches! In Acts 23, we see anger, pride, and tempers flaring—but also a contrast between men who lose control and those who keep their composure. If we let anger and pride control us, we will destroy ourselves and others. But if we yield to God's wisdom, He will work things out for His glory.
