250 + FAVOR/FRUSTRATION
Today on Monday Morning Faith, Dave and Donny talk about how they are celebrating America's birthday week and Joseph's story in the final week of the "Unfinished" series.
Joseph's Story // Unfinished: Wk 06
Joseph's story reminds us: the pit was real, but not final. When you're in the waiting, God hasn't forgotten you—He's preparing you. What others meant for evil, God means for good. Delay isn't denial. Trust Him. He's still writing your story. #Unfinished #Faith
But Wait, There's More
In this episode, Avery and Nick dive into looking at our setlist from the week, discussing how it ties to the sermon series, and worshipping as an imperfect human.
BRAND NEW DONNY + EXPECTATIONS
In this episode, Dave and Donny talk about Donny's beach vacation and how John the Baptist responded when his life didn't turn out how he thought it would.
John's Story // Unfinished: Wk 05
In This powerful message Pastor David W. invites us into the life of John the Baptist, a man whose story we often reduce to a supporting role in the Christmas narrative or a brief mention as Jesus' forerunner. Yet when we examine his life closely, we discover something profoundly relatable: a faithful servant sitting in a dark prison cell, hearing reports of miracles happening everywhere except where he is. John had prophesied for years, baptized thousands, prepared the way for the Messiah, and humbled himself completely. His entire life pointed to Jesus. But when Jesus' ministry began in earnest, John found himself locked away, forgotten it seemed, wondering if the Savior would come to save him. The central question this message poses is one we all face: what do we do when life doesn't work out the way we thought it would? When our expectations collide with our reality? John's response teaches us something beautiful—he took his confusion, his pain, his last bit of faith, and brought it directly to Jesus. And Jesus met him exactly where he was, reminding him through Isaiah's prophecies that freedom was coming, that the blind see, the deaf hear, the captives are set free. We're challenged to examine what our lives point to, where we go when everything falls apart, and what small offering of faith we're willing to place in Jesus' hands, trusting that He can do immeasurably more with our little bit than we could ever imagine.
