Winter hiking in the Adirondacks in -32 wind chill - My introduction to becoming a 46er.

In this episode I discuss one of my favorite places to explore in all of New York, The Adirondack State Park. This park is massive and covers over 6.1 million acres, is home to over 10,000 lakes and 30,000 miles of rivers and streams. In a recent trip, a good friend of mine decided to hike 2 of the 46 high peaks in the area. We summited Cascade and Porter Mountain in the winter with -32 wind chill. This is an exciting time, MY FIRST PODCAST... After considering for a few years I decided to finally start recording. This story is about my 247 mile bicycle ride along the banks of the Erie Canal. My first real bike touring adventure. 4 days of riding, camping and enjoying the time to reflect on the past year and goals for the future.
