Description

In this episode of the Gadites USA Sophomore meeting, our Pastor emphasized the necessity of spiritual responsibility and diligence in our walk with God. He laid out the significance of the “Laying on of Hands” as a foundational doctrine, highlighting how it serves as a spiritual technology for the transfer of graces and the building up of the saints to walk in their divine purpose. We began by establishing that our profit in spiritual meetings is tied to our internal posture and responsibility. It was emphasized that we must repent of casual attitudes, such as lateness or lack of focus, to fully receive the life the Lord provides through His Word. We briefly revisited the doctrine of baptisms, noting that being born again is only the admission into “nursing school,” and that one must undergo consistent teaching to truly embody the life of a Christian. In addition, we saw that the “gifts of men” mentioned in Ephesians 4:8-11—Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers; are not merely offices but are the very hands of Christ given to the church. These gifts are men who were once captives themselves but were taken by Jesus to serve as conduits for spiritual blessings. Just as a hand has five fingers, the five-fold ministry acts as the fingers of Jesus to reach, touch, and build the body of Christ. Furthermore, we saw that the laying on of hands is a natural principle with a profound spiritual reality, used for the transfer of anointing, wisdom, and healing. It is also a means of identification and ordination, where spiritual authority recognizes and sends forth those called by God. We learned that the “present evil world” constantly attempts to lay its own hands on us through media and worldly influences, but the five-fold ministry is designed to deliver us from these pressures and anchor us in the power of the Gospel. Ultimately, the goal of this doctrine is to move us away from a “lone ranger” mentality and into a life of healthy submission to spiritual authority. By placing ourselves under the hands the Lord has provided, we receive the guidance and spiritual substance necessary to mature. This foundation prepares us for a deeper exploration of both vertical and horizontal submission, which are essential for our prosperity and growth in the realm of the Spirit.

(2026_06_27) - Understanding the Coming of the Lord to the Church - Combined BM - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this special episode of the Combined Brethren Meeting, our pastor took a deeper dive into understanding the coming of the Lord. He began by explaining that the heart of man is large enough to accommodate many places, and was originally destined to house all of God. The indwelling of the Holy Ghost at the new birth was a token of our inheritance, and an assurance that we ought to also house the Son and the Father in our hearts (Isaiah 66:1-2). The coming of Jesus to us is to the end that this be accomplished. It was established that Jesus must first come to the church, then through the church, then for the church, and ultimately, with the church. His initial coming to the church is via the teaching of Scriptures. His coming is by the ministry of revelation or understanding to the church for the purpose of destroying the works of the devil in our souls. Therefore, we must love hearing God’s word and not be satisfied until we have received all the revelation of Jesus. Furthermore, it was shown that Jesus is made up of two distinct persons: the Christ and the Son of God. The Christ can also be referred to as the Anointed One, the Righteous, or the King. The Son of God can also be referred to as God’s Prophet. These persons are natures that Jesus grew into and acquired while on earth. His coming to us is to ensure we do the same. Ultimately, the manner of the coming of Jesus we receive will determine the name we receive. Receiving Him as the Christ will get us the name of the Son, and receiving the Son of God will get us the name of the Father. These names are buildings that must be raised in our souls so we can house all of the Godhead. We build for the Lord by giving ourselves in obedience to the revelation He supplies per time.

(2026_06_27) - Understanding Soul Salvation in the Light of the Lord Coming to the Church - Combined BM - Pastor Greatness Olaitan

In this special episode of the Combined Brethren Meeting, we took an in-depth look at the coming of the Lord. It was emphasized that the coming of Jesus can be calibrated into two measures: first as Christ, then as the Son of God. We saw that receiving Him as Christ will teach the believer how to put off the old man. This is known as the times of refreshing, where sins are blotted out. Only after this can a believer be prepared to receive Jesus as the Son of God. In this next measure, the Lord Jesus reveals Himself to the believer as God’s Prophet. As a prophet, He communicates the mind and heart of God to the end that people will be able to accomplish it. Ultimately, receiving the coming of the Lord means to hear His word until we know the truth that is in Jesus. No believer experienced this at the new birth. Rather, we must receive Jesus in stages. We do this by meditating on His precepts and inclining our ears to His word. As we wait on the word and inquire about it, we will receive all the measures of the coming of the Lord.

(2026_06_06) - The Process of Renewal of the Soul for Salvation - High School & Freshmen BM - Pastor Greatness Olaitan

In this special episode of the Gadites USA High School & Freshmen Brethren Meeting, our Pastor continued building upon the foundation of the process of the salvation of the soul. It was emphasized that even after the new birth, the soul still consists of old things. These old things, specifically corruption and deceitful lusts, can only be put off when a person commits to the learning of Christ. We saw that when a person fully learns Christ, their soul enters into a state of being in Christ, just as the spirit was at the new birth. Additionally, it was established that for the inward man to be fully renewed, one must become a new man. A new man is one whose sole focus is pleasing God. We saw that achieving this requires living a lifestyle patterned after Jesus’ heavenly conversation. New things will only enter the soul through feeding upon and obeying the knowledge of Christ. A believer remains at risk of perishing if they consistently give themselves to the wrong knowledge. Ultimately, it was explained that we must give ourselves to daily believing unto the salvation of our souls. The Holy Ghost was sent to us to reveal what we must believe. Therefore, we must become familiar with the Spirit of Truth if we are to know the truth that makes us free from corruption. Certain habits, such as attending meetings, reading the Bible, and praying, are essential to ensure a believer does not draw back unto perdition. Finally, having an accountability partner to ensure we are consistently engaging in these activities will significantly aid a believer's growth and journey toward the salvation of the soul.

(2026_06_06) - Q & A on X-raying Heavens — Understanding the Angelic (Part 2) - Seniors & Grad BM - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this special episode of the Gadites USA Seniors & Grad Brethren Meeting, our Pastor continued the series on the angelic, building upon the foundation already established. He began by emphasizing that angels respond only to God, not to men. Hence, it is not safe for a believer to seek angelic encounters. He highlighted that such visions, which must always be verified by Scripture, do not add to a person’s spirituality. Angels are messengers of God and can speak in the first person in God's stead when delivering His message. The core of the message focused on an in-depth look at the three strata of the angelic. It was reiterated that there are three distinct angelic cadres, each with varying access to God. The first-heaven angels are referred to as His works in all places of His dominion (Psalm 103:22). They are kingly in nature. The first heaven can be likened to the Outer Court in the Tabernacle of Moses, where Levites and kings primarily minister. We saw that these angels are closest to man and primarily minister to man’s carnal needs. Furthermore, we saw that the seraphims in the second heaven are flames of fire that constitute the mount of the congregation. The second heaven is likened to the Holy Place in the tabernacle, as seen in Isaiah 6:1–6. God is known in their midst as the Lord of Hosts, because He visits there. God dwells in the third heaven, between the cherubim (Psalm 80:1). The third heaven is the Most Holy Place, and the throne of God is signified by the Ark of the Covenant. Ultimately, the angelic pattern is similar to how the Lord is raising believers. The Lord is preparing believers to be angels of the world to come. We will be the actual creatures that will show forth the originality of the heavens. We are not allowed to do less than the angels; we must be better than them. Therefore, there are certain things we will not be permitted to do on our journey to holiness
