7/15: AB Visits GTTR: Podcast Re-launch, Transformative Learning, Radio Listeners
Alexis Baum of AB Sees You does street interview style episodes that are available online streaming wherever podcasts are found (for the most part) and check out her linktree here: https://linktr.ee/abseesyou [https://linktr.ee/abseesyou] She has made it a mission to shine an audio spotlight onto others and collect their beautiful and meaningful stories. She uses good old fashioned spur of the moment conversations to bring these ordinary people to your listening ears. For more info about the 15th St Farm Ikigai Event: https://www.15thstfarm.com/all-events-st-pete/ikigai-dinner-03-04-2026-e9sly-6k4p3-p83m4-wakr8 [https://www.15thstfarm.com/all-events-st-pete/ikigai-dinner-03-04-2026-e9sly-6k4p3-p83m4-wakr8] or https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ikigai-communal-dinner-tickets-1990965603716?aff=oddtdtcreator [https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ikigai-communal-dinner-tickets-1990965603716?aff=oddtdtcreator] GTTR Stef did a lot of editing to help the episode flow easier and to better highlight AB's words over the conversation. This is meant to air on July 15th, as it will debut on Get to the Roots on Radio St Pete on that date, however, Stef is releasing it early to support the promotion of Alexis's next podcast chapter. So, when you're listening, if it's before Wednesday, July 15, 2026 and if you're interested in the event and dinner at 15th St Farm, the links are above if you want to get tickets. If not, on that night, maybe think about how cool something like this is going on in our city. Also: Featured: Julian Evans? Hello from Nice, France, Speaking with Fiona Frensche from Across the Ocean
This episode of Get to the Roots Extras archives the raw interview with Fiona Frensche from Nice, France. We were able to get her words up on the airwaves of Radio St Pete through the magic miracle of modern technology. Hear about the historic area she's staying in, the gigs she's doing, about the huge music festival this past Sunday in France, as well as her very cool TripAdvisor tours. QR Code Monkey for Free QR Codes -- We Should All Take Our Own Advice
I recently recorded a podcast in which I encouraged musicians and creators to consider advertising themselves via QR Code because I scanned one, finding a musician with a pretty significant following. I share how I learned to make an actual free QR code (something that used to be easy to do!) by getting bamboozled by a so-called free code -- I did this to promo my side art business (part of it) and I'll continue to update you all to see, in action, how my advice actually works in the long run.
