Subconscious Series: Money and Nervous System Regulation
ADHD in women is wildly misunderstood. In this deeply personal episode, I'm sharing my ADHD story for the first time — diagnosed at 14, on medication for over a decade, off it after my second baby, and the identity shift that changed everything about how I experience my brain today. We're going deep into three layers most ADHD content never combines: the actual neuroscience of what's happening in an ADHD brain (dopamine, norepinephrine, the prefrontal cortex, executive function), the energetic and intuitive perspective on why so many ADHD brains are deeply intuitive and pattern-recognition wired, and the shame layer most neurodivergent women are carrying without realizing it. You'll hear why I stopped identifying as someone with ADHD, what happened to my symptoms when I did, the universal law of reflection and how it explains why your symptoms come and go, and a 5-step framework for stepping into your power as a neurodivergent woman. Note: this episode is not me telling you to come off your medication. That's between you and your provider. This is me telling you there is so much more going on with ADHD than what we've been told. Topics covered: late diagnosis ADHD, ADHD neuroscience, dopamine and the ADHD brain, executive function, ADHD shame, ADHD intuition, neurodivergent women, ADHD as a superpower, identity shift, my ADHD story. This is the ADHD shift from diagnosis to superpower. Ready to go deeper? Tapping into my intuition changed my entire life and helped me lessen my symptoms and live a life that is aligned by my design.
