Description

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2293608/fan_mail/new] What happens when the body suddenly stops cooperating with the life you've carefully built? In this conversation, we explore a woman’s journey from artist to patient advocate, the lessons learned while living with epilepsy, the importance of caring for and listening to our bodies, and what it means to seek care in a health system focused on profit. Today's guest, Holly Eckert, grew up in a small mountain town in Idaho and discovered her love for dance in childhood.  Healthy, strong, and thriving into her mid-thirties, Holly's life took an unexpected turn when she began experiencing uncontrollable seizures. Epilepsy quickly disrupted everything she thought she knew about her body, her future, and the healthcare system she depended on for answers. What followed was not only a search for healing but also a deep investigation into the strengths and shortcomings of modern medicine in the United States.  Determined to share what she learned, Holly transformed her experience into a powerful memoir, SEIZED: Searching for Health in the United States. This was one of the most beautiful conversations I've had so far, in 3 years of podcasting. Enjoy! Ana Maria Jinga from Darkness to Freedom: Rewiring the Mind for Healing

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2293608/fan_mail/new] Have you ever noticed how easily we believe every thought that crosses our minds? A self-critical thought emerges, and we mistake it for our identity. But what if your power lies in realizing that you are not your thoughts? In this conversation, we explore what it means to detach from the stories our minds create, why resisting thoughts often gives them more power, and how acceptance can become a pathway out of the darkness.  Today's guest is Ana Maria Jinga, a business and lifestyle identity coach and the founder of Becoming Abundant, a faith-rooted personal growth movement dedicated to helping women reclaim freedom in their minds and hearts. Drawing from her background in psychology, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), holistic wellness, and faith-based mindset work, Ana helps people break free from limiting patterns and reconnect with their God-given identity and purpose. This episode is a reminder that our thoughts do not define us, that we are never meant to walk life's challenges alone, and that even in our darkest moments, there is a path back to hope, freedom, and wholeness. Don’t be shy to ask for help. Please enjoy my conversation with Ana Maria Jinga. Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2293608/fan_mail/new] Money touches nearly every aspect of our lives, yet many of us were never taught how to relate to it. Financial well-being is much more than figures in your bank account. It's about knowing what’s important to you and aligning your finances with your values. In this conversation, we explore the connection between money and well-being, the importance of trust and rapport with a financial advisor, and why life planning is the key to freedom, at any age and stage. Aaron Poochigian on The Unexpected Healing Power of Central Park

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2293608/fan_mail/new] True healing happens when we open ourselves to the beauty around us—the beauty in the silence, in the trees, in the animals, in poetry, and through the beauty of learning to be present with ourselves again. In this conversation, you’ll learn tools for addiction recovery and for a creativity boost. You’ll also hear how profoundly natural beauty can be to restore the human spirit. My guest, Aaron Poochigian, is a poet, classics scholar, translator, and author whose life and work beautifully bridge literature, philosophy, and the healing power of nature. Aaron has translated some of the world’s most timeless voices, including Sappho and Marcus Aurelius, and his writing has appeared in publications such as *The Financial Times*, *The New York Review of Books*, and *Poetry Magazine*. But beyond his academic and literary accomplishments, Aaron’s personal journey is one of transformation. A former cocaine addict, Aaron found himself, like many during the pandemic, craving peace, inspiration, and reconnection after a season of isolation. And unexpectedly, he found it in Central Park. What began as a simple contemplation of this iconic urban sanctuary became a way to reconnect with life itself.  This experience inspired his beautiful new book, *Four Walks in Central Park*, a unique guidebook written entirely in verse. This episode is a reminder that creativity is sparked by activating our senses during idle time. Holly Copeland in Rewilding the Soul: Healing Through Nature, Presence & Awareness

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2293608/fan_mail/new] There comes a moment in many people’s healing journey when they realize that wellness is not only about fixing symptoms… but about remembering who we truly are beneath the noise, the conditioning, and the disconnection from ourselves and from nature. In this conversation, we explore what it means to “rewild” ourselves from the inside out, how disconnection from nature mirrors disconnection from self, and why healing may be less about becoming someone new… and more about returning home to who we’ve always been. Today’s guest, Holly Copeland, has devoted her life to guiding people back to that remembrance. She is the creator of the Inner Rewilding process — a beautiful integration of science, spirituality, somatic healing, and deep connection with the natural world. A former ecologist turned healing practitioner, she now helps spiritual seekers, visionaries, and earth-conscious leaders reconnect with what she calls the “wild intelligence” within. Rooted in modern non-dual awareness and the wisdom of the body, Holly’s work weaves together frequency, ceremony, meditation, breathwork, subtle energy healing, and presence to create profound spaces for healing and transformation. Holly also shares insights from her newly released book, Inner Rewilding: A Scientist's Journey into Being. This episode is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and remember the wisdom already living within you.
