A year after the historic flooding that forever changed the Guadalupe River and parts of the Texas Hill Country, the signs of recovery are impossible to miss. The floodwaters are said to have swept away more than half of the natural vegetation along portions of the river in Kerr County, dramatically reshaping the landscape. But nature has a remarkable way of bouncing back. Fresh growth is appearing where devastation once stood, and in many ways, an entirely new river is beginning to emerge. In this episode, we sit down with an environmental expert who has spent decades restoring and protecting natural landscapes.
