Privileged Salvation is worth our Present Suffering

Pursue Love by Abiding in God’s Word

Jesus tells his disciples that the world will know them because “they love one another.”  Likewise, Peter commands his readers to love one another and reminds them that it is the Word or God that enables and energizes that love. We are to love one another as Jesus has loved us. Find the power to love other through a steady diet of Gods word.

Pursue Holiness in Fear and Love

God has given us a living hope in Jesus Christ. What amazing grace! In light of this grace, we are to live out our hope in Jesus. This inspires Christians to live holy lives as we remember our Father, the judge of all, and his Son, who give His life for us.

Privileged Salvation is worth our Present Suffering

Salvation is such a gracious gift of God. The prophets eagerly desired to understand the mysteries of their words. The angels long to look into the mysteries of the gospel. Yet, we have the privilege to live in this beautiful relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Although we will go through times of suffering for this gospel, we can rejoice in the spiritual maturity these trials produce in us.

Praise God for our Living Hope!

Christians, as exiles in the world, are to praise God for our new indentity in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, for our living hope through the resurrection, and for our safe inheritance still to come. While we might feel out of step in the world, we can be confident that God will bring us safely home.

Be a Barnabas

Barnabas was a model encourager within the early church. He is a great model of someone who loves and values God's Word, God's Grace, the Next Generation, and Every Nation. Grace Bible Church also values these principles and we seek to be a "Barnabas" to those we come in contact with as they find and follow Jesus.
