Grassroots and Dirty Boots
Organic grain producer Scott Myers of Woodlyn Acres Farm [https://www.facebook.com/WoodlynAcresFarm/] in Dalton, Ohio, was joined by Manbir Rakkar, Assistant Professor of Soil Fertility and Nutrient Management at The Ohio State University [https://senr.osu.edu/our-people/manbir-rakkar]. The two discussed the importance of on-farm research, barriers to adoption of good soil health practices, reasonable input usage, and how healthy soils bolster a farm’s resilience in the face of extreme weather. This podcast is a project of the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA) and is generously supported by the National Healthy Soils Policy Network and OEFFA members.
