I've been diving deep into what it means to surrender—giving everything to God, from my heart to my plans. It’s about letting go of control and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead. In Matthew 16:24, Jesus teaches us that to follow Him, we must give up our own way. It’s a hard truth, but embracing it leads us to peace and freedom. Surrender isn’t just a one-time act; it’s a daily choice. I’ve had to let go of distractions that kept me from spending time with God, like gaming, which became an idol. I realized that only God can fill the void we often try to fill with other things. As we learn to submit to His will each day, we discover more about His character and how He guides us through life’s challenges. Remember, you’re not alone in this journey.
