For the last 23 years, he has been the Executive Editor for the prestigious Milton H. Erickson Foundation Newsletter and co-founder of the Southern California Society for Ericksonian Psychotherapy and Hypnosis. Dr. Landis is the past Senior Program Reviewer and the Audit Chairman for the State of California’s Mandatory Continuing Education for Psychologists and past Continuing Education Committee Chairperson for the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists. December 2019 he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for "Outstanding Contributions to the Field of Psychotherapy" from the Milton H. Erickson Foundation.
