Welcome to the Health & Wellness Trailblazers Podcast! In today’s episode, we're talking about how to heal your nervous system from burnout, break free from survival mode, and create the energy, resilience, and balance you need to thrive in work and life.  Serena Taylor is the founder of Serenity Studio and creator of The Serenity Reset, a nervous-system-led approach to preventing and recovering from burnout, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and stress-related illness. A former lawyer and primary school teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience, Serena combines evidence-informed nervous system education with yoga, breathwork, coaching, NLP, and deep rest practices to help people reconnect with their health, energy, and resilience. After her own experience of burnout and fibromyalgia, Serena became determined to understand why so many people are becoming unwell in a world that never seems to stop. This journey led her to train extensively in yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and coaching. She is a 500-hour yoga teacher, advanced breathwork practitioner trained with Wim Hof and Stig Severinsen, Master NLP Practitioner, Life Coach, and Yoga Nidra teacher. Through retreats, workshops, corporate wellbeing programmes, public speaking, and online education, Serena helps individuals and organisations recognise the early signs of burnout, build resilience, improve wellbeing, and create sustainable long-term change. She is the author of The Serenity Reset and The Serenity Kitchen: Nourishing the Nervous System, and has been featured in OM Yoga Magazine, Business Wales, That’s Life Magazine, podcasts, and public speaking events including the Hay Festival. Her mission is simple: to help people understand that they are not broken, that their symptoms make sense, and that with the right support, recovery is possible.
