Marriage is one of the greatest gifts God gives us, but let's be honest, it is also one of the hardest. It requires patience, sacrifice, forgiveness, and a whole lot of grace. Today’s episode is a tender and meaningful one. We’re joined by Julie Dominguez, a woman whose story carries both deep sorrow and quiet strength. Julie opens her heart to share about the loss of her teenage daughter, Meagan, and what she has learned through the long journey of grief. I just want to say before we start how much I admire Julie’s willingness to be so open about something so painful. Grief is such a personal thing, and yet she has been willing to let others into that journey. Through her story, you really see who God has been to her in those darkest moments, and also how the people around her helped walk alongside her through that pain. One thing that stood out to me so much in talking with Julie is just her huge mom heart. Her love for Meagan is so evident. It’s been many years since Meagan went to heaven, but you can tell it still feels so fresh to Julie. That kind of loss is not something you ever truly get over, it just still really hurts.
