I preach it all the time.  It's part of my WHY. It was something - throughout my whole life I never actually did and I fought like hell to finally get to the place in my life that I COULD.  So why is there a part of me that's sort of "in hiding"? Why is there a part of me that's trying to fake it? Maybe not fake it so much as deny it? I've for sure not been living it. #5 The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly... But not Necessarily in that Order

This was a tough one!  Have you ever had a single thought totally take on a life of its own and get all kinds of outta control?  Maybe it begins with a thought...or maybe it begins with a feeling that becomes a thought and slowly (or even sometimes super fast) it weaves its way through your mind - maybe gathering other thoughts and feelings along the way - and before you know it, that's all you can see. Then the pounding, racing heart begins. Maybe you start feeling a bit light-headed. Your throat or chest - or both! - tighten and you swear you are either choking or you can't breathe. And then the dread steps in. All from one single thought. That's anxiety. And it might feel like nobody understands but I promise you, you're not alone. Let's talk about it.

#4 You've Heard it Before...

You've heard it before…" change your thoughts - change your life".   I've lived my life - believe it or not - as a huge pessimist. In all things. I think it came from a combination of my early life experiences and what I learned to believe about myself. It's no surprise that when I started getting older and able to make decisions and choices for myself, it was a series disappointments. One right after another. When I finally listened to that one important sentence that my dad had been saying to me ever since I was a little girl….when I finally HEARD the meaning behind it at and also discovered a book that would become so important to me (that just so happened to fall right in line with what my dad always said), well, that's when my I made some very big changes in my life.   And you can do the same. ***Visit the Her Confident Life Website for more inspiration.
