Description

Father's Day. For some, it is a day to celebrate a dad who has been a source of strength, guidance, and love. For others, it is a painful reminder of someone who is absent...or someone whose choices left wounds that still remain. What do you do with Father's Day when your father is missing? What if he was never there? What if the relationship is complicated, painful, or broken? In this message, Josh turns to Scripture and examines three very different fathers whose lives still have something to teach us today. Through their successes, failures, and legacies, we discover lessons that speak to both the hurts and hopes surrounding fatherhood. Whether you are carrying painful memories, honoring a faithful father, or striving to become a better dad yourself, this message offers biblical encouragement and practical wisdom that can impact generations. Ep # 115 Naaman

We all have those moments when God throws us a curveball. We expect life to go one way, only to find ourselves facing something completely different. In those moments, we are often left scratching our heads and asking, "Lord, what are You doing?" That is exactly where we find ourselves today in 2 Kings 5. Here we meet Naaman, the mighty commander of the Syrian army. Though feared by his enemies and respected by his king, Naaman has a problem that no amount of power, wealth, or military success can solve: he has leprosy. When he hears of a prophet in Israel who can heal him, he sets out with certain expectations about how things should unfold. But when God's answer comes, it is nothing like what Naaman had imagined. Faced with an unexpected command, Naaman must decide whether he will trust his own understanding or simply obey. As we walk through this remarkable account, we will discover that God's ways are often different from our own. The real question is: How do we respond when God asks us to do something we weren't expecting? What if His plan is better than ours? Buckle up and join us as we take a look at "Naaman." Ep #114 Jericho Road: Part II

As we continue our Walk with Jesus alongside Jim Barnhart, we arrive at one of the most significant moments in the life of Christ: His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. As Jesus rides into the city on a humble donkey, He fulfills prophecies written centuries before, providing powerful evidence of His identity as the promised Messiah. Yet this event is far more than a historical fulfillment. Within these eleven verses, we find practical truths that still speak to our lives today. Jesus is not merely a distant King who conquered sin and death. He is a personal Lord who desires a relationship with each one of us. In this message, Jim shares seven lessons we can learn from Mark 11:1–11 as we prepare to enter the final week before the crucifixion. Join us as we continue down the "Jericho Road: Part II." Ep #113 Healed!

Miraculous healings are found all throughout the Bible. We read these accounts and stand amazed at the powerful works God has done. Today, Gary Froiland returns and takes us to Luke 6, where we find a remarkable example of faith in the healing power of Jesus. But the person Luke chooses to highlight may surprise you. This leads us to an important question: Was miraculous healing only for days gone by? As Gary will share, Jesus still heals today, and he gives an example that is very close to home. This message will encourage you not only in the physical needs we face, but even more in the spiritual healing we all desperately need, in this message titled “Healed.” High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 5/31/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Ep #112 Jericho Junction

Every one of us eventually comes to a crossroads in life: a moment where a decision must be made. Sometimes those choices affect our future here on earth...and sometimes they affect eternity itself. Today, we continue our Walk with Jesus as He arrives in Jericho. Sitting along the roadside is a blind man named Bartimaeus. He is desperate, overlooked, and seemingly without hope. Yet when Jesus passes by, Bartimaeus is faced with a choice: remain where he is...or cry out in faith. In Mark 10:46–52, we witness one of the most powerful encounters in Scripture. Through the response of this blind man, we discover timeless truths about faith, persistence, surrender, and what it truly means to follow Jesus. What will you do when you come to your own crossroads?
