Today, I want to go through why we should care about our physical bodies as followers of Christ.  #1 We are fearfully and wonderfully made: God made our bodies, and our bodies reflect His glory (Genesis 1:27, 31; Psalm 139:13–14; Job 10:11). #2 Our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit: God cares about His temple, and we are called to take care of it (1 Corinthians 3:16–17; 1 Corinthians 6:19–20; 2 Corinthians 6:16; Romans 8:11). #3 We are called to present our bodies as a living sacrifice: God calls us to offer our bodies to Him and to resist idleness (Romans 12:1; 1 Corinthians 10:31; Proverbs 21:25; 2 Thessalonians 3:10; Proverbs 15:19; Proverbs 12:11). #4 Do Not Let Sin Reign in Your Body: God calls us to self-control and holiness (Romans 6:12; Proverbs 23:2; 1 Corinthians 9:27; Proverbs 23:20; Proverbs 25:16; Proverbs 25:28; Philippians 3:19).
