አዳምና ሄዋን በኤደን ገነት አለመታዘዝን ሲፈጽሙ አንዱ የጎደሉት ከእውነት ነበር። እግዚአብሄርም እኛን ፈቀቅ ካልንበት የእውነት ጎዳና መልሶ ለማስገባት በመቤዠት ስራው እውነት የሆነውን እንድያ ልጁን ላከ። እውነት በአጋጣሚዎቻችን፣ አጋጣሚዎቻችን በሚፈጥሩብን ስሜቶች ወይም ተጽኖዎች የሚቀረጽ አንጻራዊ አመለካከት ሳይሆን እግዚአብሄር እንድንመላለስበት ያስቀመጠው የህይወት ስርዓት ነው። ያንንም ስርዓት እውነት ከሆነው ከራሱ ከክርስቶስ ውጭ ልንኖረው አንችልም። “ኢየሱስም፦ ‘እኔ መንገድና እውነት ሕይወትም ነኝ፤ በእኔ በቀር ወደ አብ የሚመጣ የለም።’” — ዮሐንስ ወንጌል 14፡6 በዛሬው ሁለት ቤሳ ክፍል እውነት ምንድነው፣ ምን አይደለም እና እንዴት እውነትን ልናውቅና በእውነት መኖር እንችላለን የሚለውን እንነጋገራለን። ይህ ክፍል እንደሚባርካችሁ ተስፋ አደረጋለው። ያላችሁን ሀሳብና አስተያየታ በኮመንት መስጫው ላይ አሳውቁኝ።እግዚአብሔር ይባርካችሁ። __ When Adam and Eve disobeyed God's command, one of the things they lost was their alignment with truth. In His redemptive plan to restore humanity, God sent His own Son—the Truth—to redeem us and bring us back into a right relationship with Him. Truth is not a relative perspective that is determined by our experiences or our responses to our experiences. Truth is God's standard for life and we cannot live according to that standard apart from Truth Himself, Jesus Christ.“ Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. …’ ” — John 14:6 In today's episode of Hulet Besa, we'll talk about what truth is, what it is not and how we can know and choose the true Truth. Life is often about building— our faith, relationships, careers, families and dreams. Every area of life is being built, brick by brick, through our choices and efforts. But imagine discovering that everything you've worked so hard to build was ultimately in vain.Psalm 127:1 says, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain." Any effort to build a life apart from God, the bible says, is a vain effort.In today's episode of Hulet Besa, we'll talk about what it means to do life and build with God. As much as I loved the idea of knowing, I had reservations when it came to knowing God because it felt intimidating, considering how big God is. But as I walked through this journey with Him, I came to understand that being a Christian means living a life of knowing God, and that God Himself desires to be known by us. In the second episode of the Hulet Besa podcast, I talk about knowing God and what we can do to know Him more. I believe this is foundational because the main theme of this podcast is a life fully devoted to God, and devotion starts with knowing whom we are giving our devotion to. When I returned to Christ after many years of doing life apart from God, I came across a two line poem that goes like this:I was found before I was lost, I was Yours before I was not.Although God and the Church were a big part of my early childhood, I drifted away quickly and got caught up in the world. Yet in His goodness, the Lord found me and drew me back to Himself, this time with a deeper understanding of His nature that anchors me.In this first episode, I share my personal testimony of how I came to Christ, starting with my childhood and reflecting on how God has met me with mercy especially through my struggles with depression and its impact on my life.I hope this encourages you and helps you see God in His compassion and lovingkindness.
