Idaho Champion Gold Mines Canada Inc CEO Jonathan Buick tells Proactive said it completed this year's induced polarization/resistivity geophysical survey at its Champagne gold project in Idaho, USA, which outlined a large anomaly covering nearly eight square kilometers. Buick says it carried out two new IP lines at the property, which spans a total 26 sq km, north of the two previous lines completed in 2020, for 7,800 metres (m), which extended the survey coverage west by 1,400m.

Buick says the drill holes encountered the interpreted outer halo of a zoned polymetallic mineral system, consistent with that expected from a potential porphyry copper system at depth beneath the Champagne caldera.
