InSight Out
In Sweden, dogs are not supposed to be left alone for more than six hours, and they need to be walked regularly. The idea surprised a lot of people online, especially in places where leaving a pet home during a long workday or day trip is pretty normal. It is not a bad thing to care well for animals. Scripture reminds us that stewardship matters. But it does raise an interesting question: if we can recognize that dogs need movement, care, rhythm, and attention, why do we ignore those same basic needs in ourselves? Scripture (NIV): Proverbs 12:10 — “The righteous care for the needs of their animals.” Reflection Questions: What basic needs do you tend to ignore in your own life? How can caring for creation remind us to live with better rhythms too? 👉 Join the conversation on the IOM FB Page: We'd love to hear your thoughts.
