episode Being Your Authentic Self cover

Being Your Authentic Self

What if some of the things holding you back aren’t limitations at all... but simply rules you’ve been following for years without realizing it? In this episode of the Intentional Coaching Podcast, I’m exploring the power of authenticity and what happens when we give ourselves permission to show up as our true selves. I share my own journey from spending 24 years in a corporate environment - where I learned how to be polished, professional, and “proper” - to discovering the freedom that comes from letting go of rigid expectations and showing up from a more grounded, heart-centred place. We explore: * The hidden rules we create for ourselves throughout life * How family, workplaces, and society shape the way we believe we “should” show up * Why authenticity often feels like breaking the rules * The ripple effect that occurs when one person fully embodies who they are * How being around authentic people can inspire us to rediscover parts of ourselves we’ve never explored before * The power you have to inspire change simply through your presence As I reflect on my own recent experiences - from speaking more authentically to finding unexpected joy in gardening, cooking, and creating - I share how powerful it can be to reconnect with the things that genuinely light us up. My hope is that this episode invites you to pause and ask yourself: Where am I showing up as my authentic self? And where am I still following rules that no longer feel true for me? Because when you give yourself permission to be fully you, you don’t just change your own life, you give others permission to do the same. I’d love to hear what resonated with you. Reply to this post or connect with me and share where authenticity is showing up in your life right now. episode Sweet Avoidance cover

Sweet Avoidance

This week on the Intentional Coaching Podcast, I’m talking about something I’ve been noticing in myself lately: what I’m calling sweet avoidance. That space where you know there’s something you need to do… a conversation, a decision, a creative step, a piece of your next chapter… but instead of moving forward, you wait for more certainty, more clarity, or the “right” timing. In this episode, I explore: * why avoidance often has nothing to do with laziness * how overthinking keeps us frozen * why movement creates clarity * and how taking one small step can shift everything internally Sometimes we think we need the full plan before we begin. But often, the path only reveals itself once we start walking. If you’ve been sitting in indecision, overthinking, or quietly avoiding something you know is calling you forward… this episode is for you. Listen now on Substack 🎧 Laura This is a public episode. episode Can success leave you feeling unfulfilled? cover

Can success leave you feeling unfulfilled?

Many people spend years chasing success: building careers, reaching milestones, and accomplishing the goals they once dreamed about. But what happens when you get there… and something still feels off? In this episode, I explore a question many high-achievers quietly wrestle with: At what point do we actually feel accomplished? Is it when we reach a certain milestone, or when something deeper inside us shifts? We’ll talk about why success can sometimes feel like a facade, why so many people feel they’re never quite “there,” and what it really takes to reconnect with a sense of fulfillment that doesn’t depend on the next achievement. With love, Laura Varga P.S. It’s time to flip the script to focus on what your body actually needs. In this episode, we focus on the entire ecosystem of the body and why it’s more important than the narrow focus of losing weight. If you’ve been struggling to maintain your weight-loss goals, if you struggle to keep a positive body image, or if you just want to feel less self-judgement about your body, this episode is the guiding star. The shift you need to truly sustain your goals when it comes to your body, whether that’s weight-loss, diet, exercise… let’s flip the script together. Here’s to loving your body ✨ Laura www.lifedesigncoaching.ca P.S.
