Description

Click to learn about the Uber Files [https://www.icij.org/investigations/uber-files/uber-global-rise-lobbying-violence-technology/]. Istik-ism is our philosophy of connectivity in business, specifically the connectedness between businesses and their many consumers and stakeholders. One of the ways in which we are building our philosophy is by performing case studies on organizations who have demonstrated massive amounts of success and/or seem to have connected with the masses in meaningful ways. We hope that patterns and themes may emerge so that we may better understand how these relationships play out in various industries under a wide range of conditions. Case Study #2 is on Uber. We discuss a portion of Uber’s background and greater context, the prime points of connection (PPC) we observed that seem to create high impacts for Uber in the marketplace, and our critiques about what we believe Uber may have left on the table or dropped the ball on. Uber’s Prime Points of Connection include: • Product Point of Connection • Ubiquity Point of Connection • Piggyback Point of Connection Sources: https://www.uberhealth.com/ [https://www.uberhealth.com/] https://www.engadget.com/uber-plans-to-add-trains-coaches-and-flight-bookings-to-its-app-in-the-uk-120521257.html [https://www.engadget.com/uber-plans-to-add-trains-coaches-and-flight-bookings-to-its-app-in-the-uk-120521257.html] https://www.uber.com/us/en/about/uber-offerings/ [https://www.uber.com/us/en/about/uber-offerings/] https://www.uber.com/newsroom/history/ [https://www.uber.com/newsroom/history/]
