aflevering 30| Who Am I? artwork

30| Who Am I?

This episode is based on Exodus chapter 3 when God gives Moses his assignment and Moses asks the question, "Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people out of Egypt?" Gods responds to Moses by reminding Moses of who God is instead. Dive into this episode where I attempt to unpack how focusing on our abilities can severely hinder us from focusing instead on what God can do. For scripture tells us in Luke 18:27 that what is impossible with man is possible with God. So let's set our sights on the Lord.  Also, the JAM website has officially launched!! 🎉 Head over http://www.jesusaffirmsme.com [http://www.jesusaffirmsme.com] to join our JAM Fam and be in the loop with all of the JAMmin' happenings!!  Follow Jesus Affirms Me on the socials, @jesusaffirmsme

28| Whether The Season, We Running

Christianity is not a safeguard against hardship in this life. The fact is, as long as we live, we will face a lot of different things, both good and bad. But we keep moving; in fact we running. The intent of today's episode is to encourage you wherever you find yourself while listening. This life may not be easy, but here is not our home and we have hope for an eternity in a better place. God is good and mercies endure forever. Hebrews 12:1-2 instructs, Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne.
