Kerosene: A True Crime Podcast
Hello and welcome to Kerosene Hosted by me Kara Cina where the true crime flame burns red hot! Today is episode 36 the Case of Lena Baker. She was an African American woman from Cuthbert, Georgia who was convicted of the capital murder of a white man in 1945. She is the only woman in Georgia to be executed by electrocution. This is a case of self defense but unfortunately because of the time frame, race, and gender there was nothing fair about this case. She would later go on to be pardoned on August 16th, 2005. A little to late. If you enjoyed this episode please subscribe, rate, and review. Please follow me on Instagram @kerosenetruecrime.
