On this week's episode we welcome one of our own; Gounaris Abboud's head of Family Law, Lauren Davenport. Lauren is a Dayton native and graduate of the University of Dayton Law School. Before moving into Family Law, Lauren spent 8 years as a general practice attorney and Guardian Ad Litem. Our conversation with Lauren touched on most of her primary duties at Gounaris Abboud; divorce, dissolution, custody, paternity, and advocating for children during their toughest moments. Lauren is an incredibly hard worker and one of the busiest people you will ever meet. We were very happy to finally get her on the show and we hope you enjoy the conversation.

In a shocking turn of events, the Luigi Mangione defense team has withdrawn the extreme emotional disturbance (EED) plea a single day after filing it with the state court in New York. It's hard to tell at this point what lead to this change but it was clearly not an ideal sequence of events for the Mangione defense team.
