Description

Rori Klein returns to educate us on the connection of Pathworking, Dungeons & Dragons, and the "Theater of the Mind". In this second episode, her journey started with guided meditation that lead to pathworking, an inner landscape spiritual practice. She started playing DND at age 11 and became a professional dungeon master in 2018. In 2017, she was diagnosed with ADHD and had her ego death. She used the role play of DND to build a sensory world that explores identity, regaining power and self transformation.  “Theater of the mind” are spoken descriptions. A professional dungeon master weaves the scene for the players to interact with. They help players immerse themselves in the story and connect with their imagination.  A pathworking facilitator helps move you through an experience in the minds eye, using imagination as well as connecting emotion and intention. Which ended up being the inspiration to create a spirit badge for her wyrd scouts.  At the end of the lesson, she shares a nugget of wisdom from another professional dungeon master that can be applied to real life: failing forward. A must listen for everyone.
