S.4:CHILDREN-Ep.1 "Are We RAISING our CHILDREN...or ARE THEY RAISING US?....."

My guest, Kim Muench and I discuss our children and how we help them while helping ourselves through the journey of growing up in a world that continues to evolve and change each and every day.  We look at the past and see how raising kids have totally changed.  What worked yesterday...may not always be as effective today because children are so different and wise in this day and time.  They know so much more because they are presented with and exposed to so much more via TV, electronics, from their peers as well as from the adults around them and within this world we live in.  And all of this starts as soon as they are born....they are born super smart and highly intelligent.  Some of us learned from our generation and try to show & share with our children what we were taught and shown.  No one had a manual on how to raise each child....it came with the experiences along the way as we learned along the way as our children learned along the way.   Our future generations are and will also continue to evolve and we as parents have to always stay on our toes and pay attention to everything along the way as we raise our children.....because in essence they are raising us too but in a way that is good so we can learn from them as they teach us how to learn from them while still be the parent figure.  We should never lose sight of the assignment that was given to us and that is to be a PARENT!!

My guest, Mark V. Smith and I discuss the past and how some things from our past resonate with us years later to help define use as it may have an impact on our life journey.  Our birth is no coincidence....it was planned before we were even born.  As we grow.....we start to understand more and more about ourselves and as we get older....we definitely do a lot of self-reflection as we think back on our lives to reminisce just like it was yesterday as we continue into our present existence.  This is when we either do a redirect if we don't like the direction that we are going or we continue down that path that's most comfortable.

This episode of Life and Wisdom Speaks is with my guest, Rebecca Pierre-Louis where we talk about having a baby during the pandemic while she shares her wonderful experience of being blessed with a beautiful and healthy baby boy.  Having a baby is supposed to be a wonderful and joyous time for those that are getting ready to have a new baby. It can be somewhat daunting because you are stepping into the unknown along with hoping and praying that everything goes well. But to have a baby during a pandemic with all of the other unknowns has to be concerning. During the pandemic....we had hospitals overcrowded and people were afraid of coming down with COVID along with everything else that went on during this time in all of our lives. I know that Moms and Dads had to have deep concerns but if you were given the assignment of becoming a new parent during the pandemic......then that's just what that was....an assignment that had to be fulfilled! Congratulations to you, your beautiful baby and bringing new LIFE into this world!! Job well DONE...!! And for those that are waiting for their season....it's forthcoming......when GOD says SO..as it will be a wonderful and joyous time purposefully for you!!  And for all that bring forth new life....you will find new purpose in your LIFE's JOURNEY...!!
