Meditations of Master Woo Myung
✨ About This Reading In this poetic teaching, Master Woo Myung reflects on the image of a sailboat drifting across the blue waves. While it may appear serene and beautiful from the outside, the sailboat itself symbolizes loneliness as it moves forward alone. In the same way, when people live within the pictures of their own minds and speak of heaven with false detachment, they experience loneliness. True liberation from loneliness comes only when one goes beyond ignorance and awakens to the genuine life of Truth, where one is never alone. 📖 Original Text (Full Reading) Sailboat The passing sailboat may look peaceful, detached, and beautiful, but it is not so for the sailboat. Pushing through the blue waves, with its white sails raised, it is lonely. When man rides a sailboat and speaks of heaven, pretending to be detached, it is also a type of loneliness. What is loneliness? It is what people do not know, what they are ignorant of. Being without any accompanying passengers is also loneliness. 🎙️ Closing Message Thank you for listening to today’s reading from the teachings of Master Woo Myung. 🌊 May this reflection help you recognize the root of loneliness and guide you toward the true companionship of the eternal world within. * 🌐 Website: santaclarameditation.org [https://santaclarameditation.org] * 📧 Email: SantaClaraMeditation@gmail.com * ☎️ Phone: 408-615-0435 © Santa Clara Meditation.
