Episode 7: Backpacking Tips

Are you planning to backpack around the world? Well then you've come to the right place! This episode has some tips and tricks I picked up from my travels that I hope will help you have a more enjoyable time on your explorations.  One thing I want to highlight is making sure you are taking care of your physical and mental health. Figure out what you need to take care of yourself before you go on your trip and bring the necessary items with you. Your trip should be all about exploring a new culture, changing your perspective, being open to new adventures, connecting with people from all over the world, and transforming from the inside out. Make it easier on yourself by bringing your favorite book, or packing sanitary wipes for those sketchy bathrooms, or making a plan to call home every couple of days. Episode 4: Self Reflection in Sri Lanka

In today's episode I get vulnerable and talk about a time when I was harassed in Sri Lanka. It wasn't a great start to my 3 week long trip, but it did give me a chance to grow and reflect. I have no regrets from that trip and wouldn't have it any other way. I wouldn't be who I am today if I didn't experience everything that I did.  In the end, I had the most incredible time in this beautiful country. I made lasting friendships, learned how to surf, fell in love with another country, and experienced personal growth. Everything from the landscape, to the culture, to the delicious food was perfect and I can't wait to go back.
