Then when we don’t follow through, we beat ourselves up like we lacked discipline… when really, we lacked alignment. Not everyone is called to the same rhythms. Some people thrive journaling every single day. Some don’t. Some people wake up at 5am ready to go. Some connect with God in the quiet moments later in the day. And that doesn’t make one better than the other. God didn’t create a copy-and-paste version of you. He created you on purpose, with intention. So why are we trying to force ourselves into someone else’s routine?
