Mets Salvage Finale vs Seattle, Need Length from Starting Pitchers

The New York Mets salvaged the series finale vs the Mariners on Wednesday afternoon in a day that saw Bo Bichette go 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs. The Mets won 7-1 and Freddy Peralta went six innings, only the second time a Mets starter or bulk reliever has done that since Clay Holmes went down. That is a key to their season moving forward. Can they get length out of their starters? How confident am I that they're going to be able to do that? Find out on this episode. Also, Jorge Polanco is close to returning. MJ Melendez hit a two-run walk-off home run to give the Mets the 9-7 victory over the Miami Marlins on Friday. The Mets record is now 24-33 after back to back wins. They look to win the series tomorrow with Christian Scott on the mound. Plus, both David Stearns and Carlos Mendoza spoke to the media on Friday afternoon. I give my take on what was said and I go over some of the questions I would have asked the Mets President of Baseball Operations.

The New York Mets have lost their 5th game in a row and have now fallen to 11 games under 500. It's pretty much rock bottom and I ranted about everything. A therapy session for me.

Mets Lose First 2 in Miami, Offense Continues to Struggle

As good of a homestand the Mets had last week is as bad as the road trip has been for the Mets. They split the series in Washington this past week and now have dropped the first two games against the Miami Marlins. The offense which had some life recently, has gone back to being absolutely brutal including basically being no hit for the first 8 innings of the game on Saturday.
