S2:E1. Beyond the Ceiling: My Path to Embodied Authority

I continue my exploration of the glass ceiling pattern. In part one, I named this pattern and recognized it as a protective strategy I developed to ensure I belonged. Today, I am moving. beyond intellectual understanding into the work of integration. I share my journey of identifying the "approval reflex" - that automatic physical urge to soften my voice and shrink my presence to avoid the risk of rejection. I discuss the contrast between this protective contraction and the expansive, alive feeling that arises when I choose to take up space and speak with clarity. This episode is an invitation to look in the mirror and build the nervous system;s capacity to tolerate our own expansion. I share what helped me choose alignment over the need to be liked, and I reflect on what it means to finally stand in my own authority without the fear that being fully myself will cost me my sense of belonging.
