One of the most difficult challenges that humans face, particularly in the current era where everything feels so fraught, is to maintain equilibrium. This doesn’t mean that one shouldn’t feel emotions — on the contrary, it is unhealthy to suppress them. But finding ways to feel and express emotion while remaining balanced, or being able to return to balance, is how we can address the world around us without losing ourselves.
