Mothers Unleashed LA
In this episode, Tamar sits back and lets her husband, Eric Horowitz, interview her! They talk all things storytelling, on the lack of control in parenthood, the myth of "right" or "wrong" parenting styles, and even about hierarchical modeling. Tamar Feinkind is a screenwriter, community organizer and mom to three living in Leimert Park, Los Angeles. She graduated from Northwestern as a pre-med theater major, and just recently put her love of science and art together with the heartwarming medical drama, THE SYNDROME, which is currently in preproduction. A published and produced writer, Tamar’s socially relevant scripts sprout from growing up in a culturally Jewish home and have placed or finaled in numerous contests. Tamar also founded and currently runs the storytelling workshop and podcast Mothers Unleashed LA, and she formerly helped run the theater company Fresh Produced LA. Tamar holds an MFA in Screenwriting from Stephens College. Enjoy!
