episode Mick Grant on the Suzuki XR69 TT and the Kawasaki KR750 cover

Description

Richard and Don discuss two of Mick Grants most potent rides, both of which were acquired by Richard, and Mick Grant himself weighs in on the Suzuki XR69 TT and the Kawasaki KR750.  The Suzuki was co-developed with Yoshimura. This machine carried Grant to a win at the North West 200, a 2nd place in the Isle of Man TT, and a lap record at Donington Park.  Mick Grant famously piloted the formidable factory Kawasaki KR750 to massive success during the 1970s Formula 750 era. Known as "The Green Meanie," Grant broke Mike Hailwood's Isle of Man TT lap record in 1975 on the KR750 and was clocked through the speed trap at a staggering 191 mph in 1977.
