Description

Usually, when you tell people that you're an actor, they naturally  inquire "what have you been in?" I don't imagine this is necessarily  malicious, but for most of us it's an embarrassing question to answer.  Because we know the typical person only consumes mainstream media, but  most of the jobs we actors work will never enter the mainstream. It's  all indie stuff these days. And some of us have not appeared in any  released projects at all.  So that leaves us in a pickle. What do we say without demeaning  ourselves or the innocent inquirer? No worries, I got it covered!

Queerbaiting Scandal Forces Star of Netflix Drama 'Heartstopper' to Come Out of Closet

18-year-old actor and star of the new #Netflix teen-drama #Heartstopper , #KitConnor, felt forced to come out publicly on #Twitter last night as accusations of #queerbaiting mounted. Watch to find out more!   Here's a link to a relevant article [https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-pop-culture/heartstopper-star-kit-connor-says-forced-come-out-bisexual-rcna54975] and here's a link to the Twitter post [https://twitter.com/kit_connor/status/1587218539236188160] in question. CORRECTION: I originally uploaded this video with an incorrect understanding of what queer-baiting was. Here is a link to a more appropriate definition [https://www.dictionary.com/e/slang/queerbaiting/]. Apologies in advance for the inaccuracy!
