45: Dream Team and Casey’s Announce Round Up for Dream Team Campaign

The Dream Team’s Jeremiah joins Casey’s leaders Angela Wood and Tierney Israel on a very special episode of Moving Forward.   Jeremiah is 16 and has been training for the past 4 ½ months for his third RAGBRAI as a member of Dream Team.  He recounts his trip to New York City one year ago for the Kelly Clarkson Show when Casey’s surprised the Dream Team on national TV with a significant gift to help lift up our youth.   Casey’s leaders Angela Wood and Tierney Israel join us on Moving Forward to announce a new Round Up for Dream Team campaign during RAGBRAI week (July 18-25).  The Round Up for Dream Team campaign provides an opportunity for guests at more than 500 Casey’s Iowa stores in to support Dream Team and help create brighter futures for young Iowans,

44: Ava, Claire and Jude

Dream Team members Ava, Claire and Jude join us for Episode 44 of the Moving Forward Podcast.    Ava and Claire are both new members of the 2026 Dream Team.  They talk with us about the progress they have made with Dream Team over the past four months and about some of their personal goals for RAGBRAI and beyond.   At 16, Jude already has one RAGBRAI under his belt.  We talk with Jude about his leadership in helping some of our younger members of the team and about his goals for RAGBRAI LIII.

43: Holland, Sam and Rhett

We feature three new members of the 2026 Dream Team on Episode 43 of the Moving Forward Podcast.    Holland and Sam are 15 years old and they are amongst the strongest cyclists on this year’s team.  We’ll talk with them about how their season is going and about their preparedness for RAGBRAI in a month.    And we also are going to be speaking with Rhett.  He is 14 years old and is very passionate about cycling.  Before joining Dream Team, Rhett rode a couple days of RAGBRAI in 2025 with his father.  We talk with Rhett about some of his personal goals for this season and about his wish list of things he wants to do during RAGBRAI.

42: Wendy and Jeremy

Jeremy and Mentor Wendy Rains join us for Episode 42 of the Moving Forward Podcast.   Jeremy, at 12 years old, is one of the youngest members of the 2026 team.  He talks with us about why he is driven to work so hard to prepare for RAGBRAI and about his personal goals this year at Dream Team.   Wendy draws on her years of experience as an educator to help mentor our Dream Team youth.  We talk with Wendy about why she pours so much time and energy into supporting our youth.  And we hear her thoughts about the team’s readiness for RAGBRAI LIII.

41: John and Isaac

Isaac and Mentor John Taylor joined us for Episode 41 of the Moving Forward Podcast.   Isaac is joining us just a few days after walking across the stage to receive his high school diploma from East High School.  This is his second year on Dream Team, and we’ll get Isaac’s perspective on how the team is doing now that we’re less than 50 days away from RAGBRAI.   And we also welcome mentor John Taylor.  John completed his 31st Boston Marathon in April, and he has completed a marathon in all 50 states.   Clearly, John is a passionate runner.  We talk with him about that and about why John might be even more passionate about mentoring and supporting our Dream Team youth.
