Mujeres Fronterizas
In this episode of “Mujeres Fronterizas,” SIA board member Christian Aguilar Murrieta interviews Dr. Norma Villagómez-Márquez about her experience growing up in the borderlands and how she found her passion for studying water. Norma is a chemist, engineer, and consultant who works in interdisciplinary teams with partners in both nonprofit and private sectors. She received a Ph.D. in Soil & Water Chemistry from the University of Arizona in 2021. Today, as a scientific recruiter, she spends her days helping other scientists find their job niche within a wide range of industries and fields. You can listen to the podcast below.
