episode Natalie Wood- Murder or Tragic Accident? cover

Description

On this week's podcast, we cover the drowning of Natalie Wood and if we think it was an accident or not. Before Natalie was born, her mother visited a phsyic who told her that her daughter was going to pass by drowning. (Wouldn't this have been a clue to not allow your child to want to become an actor?) After hearing about this gripping case, Elana and I both come to the conclusion that there is much more to this story than what is being told. Was Christopher Walker involved? Were people paid off if it was truly not an accident? There are many questions that this case leaves us with, but it's time to learn the small details and learn as much as we can about Natalie Wood.

"I'm the daughter of a murdered woman." Stephanie Wasilishin {Reupload}

"I'm the daughter of the murdered woman," Nikkie Wasilishin refers to herself whenever uploading a TIkTok video. Thirty years ago, Nikkie's mother, Stephanie, died after a fight with her boyfriend at the time. After reviewing information from the news station, discussions with Nikkie herself, Elana and Makenna dive deep into the story of Stephanie.  It is mentioned in the episode that there is a petition floating around that Nikkie is trying to get 15,000 signatures on. The link for this petition is https://www.change.org/p/demand-a-complete-homicide-investigation-for-the-murder-of-stephanie-marie-wasilishin . . . Help us in the fight to get Stephanie's case reopened and justice for Nikkie and her family.

Axeman of New Orleans

In this episode, Makenna {myself} covers the terrifying series of murders and attacks that have been credited to The Axeman. While only striking at night while people slept, the Axeman was said to be responsible for 12 attacks and 6 killings. In a chilling fashion, the Axeman would only ever use what he could find on hand, usually an ax, which was then left at the scene of the crime. Nothing was ever heard or seen and there was hardly any evidence found. During this case, Makenna also clears up some potenital confusion from her last epiosde on the Villscia Ax Murders, where she stated that she thought these happened around the same time as the Axeman. (She was wrong, but there is evidence stating that the Axeman could have been active as early in 1911.)
