Why would an awarded feminist, entrepreneur who has produced award winning media programmes empowering women, works with UN Women, decide to secure the license for Miss World South Africa? In this episode, Ntombenhle speaks to Carol Bouwer, who is a seasoned and awarded serial entrepreneur, with multiple businesses in media, a luxury handbag brand, and a luxury fragrance brand. Carol acquired the Miss World South Africa license and hosted the first title for Miss World SA 2023, who went on to perform well in Miss World held in India. Carol shares about her journey in building this platform, the major challenges she faced, how she overcome at a time when many felt she failed.

When I Googled “what is love?” and there were many definitions, but they all come down to a feeling of deep affection, tenderness, attraction, devotion, caring and even attachment. Love is so much more, it is the reason there is life, it is the reason there is matter, not only on our planet, but in all the multiverses. It means that love is the first impulse, it is the original Beingness that was, that is, and will always be, that led to awareness, that then led to the creation of sound and light, and the first nebula, the first star, the first galaxy, the first universe. Love is the atom. Manifestation comes from love. We are love manifest. When we learn what love is, we can really turn to love, let love in, and be tap into the magic, the mystery, the miracles that we are, and the purpose we were created.
