Description

As if it wasn’t obvious, this is a commercial encouraging you to drink the water. That’s right, you’re going to have to drink “the water” in NYC. I don’t really understand what the mayor is trying to get at with this but let me tell you – this country is falling apart and people are getting more desperate by the day.

Where Did the Working Class Go?

This week, we're talking about the media's obsession with labor shortages. The working class was out there working because we found better jobs. We were willing to trade our crap jobs for ones that allowed for more flexibility and time with our families. And we didn't do it because we were lazy; we did it because those are the priorities in our lives. But instead of acknowledging this reality, the media has been hanging on to the "labor shortage" narrative for too long. It's a convenient story for them—it allows them to continue to vilify workers and ignore real problems with our economy, like low wages and poor working conditions. But it's not true!
