Very High Speed Chase

Around 1 AM State Patrol encountered a Challenger on 94 in the Midway area going over 100 MPH. The car fled when troopers lit him up reaching speeds over 150 MPH.

Hugo Manhunt

Around 6pm Monday evening officers were called to a home in Hugo for a 911 open line. Upon arrival they found a woman badly injured who later died. The male suspect fled leading to a large manhunt lasting about 17 hours.

Washington County Goes Encrypted

Washington county has decided they no longer care about transparency as they have fully encrypted their law enforcement communications. Before too long as encryption marches on pages like this will be a thing of the past. The only source of information will be from official police sources or those with the time and knowledge for FOIA requests.

Forest Lake Car vs Two Pedestrians

Around 3:30 this afternoon a vehicle traveling on Highway 61 at 202nd street in Forest Lake hit two pedestrians crossing Highway 61. The pedestrians were air lifted. Shortly after there was a semi roll-over in the roundabout about a mile to the north to tax resources further.
