Due to recent awful events in the news, the girls came after a long hiatus caused by COVID-19 to talk about a tough subject. In this episode the term Colorism was discussed while emphasizing on different types of discrimination there are in our community based on skin color. They concluded that it’s time to stop disadvantaging dark-skinned people while privileging those with lighter skin. We don’t condone having or being a side chick, but the fact of the matter is that it happens. Therefore Jenny and Manithe discussed what it entails in being a side chick. Side chick isn’t a priority in the relationship. Side chick isn’t the person you see everyday. Side chick is, unfortunately, an afterthought, when main chick gets boring, annoying, or busy. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/s/b62144c/podcast/sponsor/acugkf/url/https%3A%2F%2Fanchor.fm%2Fapp
