Episode 59: Guardians Broadcast Complaints and Reds Bullpen Woes

Jaden and Chris are back in your feeds with another week of baseball to cover. Chris dives into a few series where he feels his Guardians could have performed better before airing his grievances with the TV production of the Guardians games this season. Jaden then goes over a series that saw his Reds get swept and focuses in on the bullpen issues for Cincinnati and the failure to construct a bullpen that could weather a 162 game season. The boys then dive into an injury for one of the games biggest stars and two stars struggling in new homes to start the season.

Episode 58: Weekend Series Recap and June Check-in

Chris and Jaden discuss the last several games for the Guardians and Reds. Chris talks about a frustrating series against Boston, previews a tough series in New York, and gives some overarching takeaways two months into the season. Jaden is a little less optimistic about the Reds because of the amount of injuries that have plagued the Reds, as well as the surplus of bullpen liabilities.

Episode 57: First No-No in OABP History and CBA Talks

Chris and Jaden are back talking baseball in another episode of your favorite Reds/Guardians podcast. Chris kicks off the pod discussing two great series from the Guardians before they ran into the buzzsaw that is the Washington Nationals. He then dives in to some concerns he has regarding the bullpen depth in Cleveland. Jaden then dives into the Reds and their righting of the ship as they take series in both Philadelphia and New York and split a rain shortened series against the Cardinals. He talks about the length he is seeing from the Reds lineup during this recent stretch of good baseball. The boys then dive in to the first no hitter thrown in the MLB since the inception of OABP and if combined no hitters are as impressive as solo no-no's. They then hypothesize on why we're seeing fewer no hitters across the league. They talk about one of the streakiest teams in MLB currently. They close the episode out talking about the MLBPA's first set of proposals for the upcoming CBA and what they like about those proposals and how they see the CBA negotiations going as we roll into the meat of the labor discussions.

Episode 56: Ohio Cup Round 1 and Minor League Brawl

Jaden and Chris break down the last week of baseball for the Reds and Guardians, including round 1 of the Ohio Cup in Cleveland. Jaden airs some much needed grievances with the Reds front office. Jaden and Chris discuss a brawl between the Lake County Captains and Dayton Dragons over the weekend. They also talk about the red-hot Phillies under a new manager.

Episode 55: Reds Get Right and a Shocking Guardians Trade

Jaden and Chris are back with another episode and hopefully back on a better schedule. Jaden breaks down the end of the Reds 8 game losing streak and a concerning bullpen struggle before he talks about how the Reds turned it around over the weekend with the help of their starting pitching. Chris then discusses a shockingly early trade for his Guardians before he discusses the last two series of Cleveland baseball. Sorry for the technical difficulties at the end of this one!
