Embracing all of our emotions: Inside Out 2 Reactions

Inside out 2 was an emotional roller coaster. The first movie was my favorite Pixar movie ever but this one might top it. I think this movie allows for a lot of reflection and healing on our emotions, especially giving us grace to forgive our younger self: puberty is messy! We have no idea how to act.  More importantly, this movie brings forth a message that I think we all are still trying to learn: embrace every part of us: the good and the bad. We are not defined by one emotion or one memory, everything makes up who we are, and that’s what makes us special. What lights your fire? For Hannah, it’s singing, and for the first time ever, she’s finally allowing herself to pursue her passion.  Hannah used to working in PR and Marketing, and she was great at her job. But something was missing, and when she got laid off from her old job she realized that she didn’t want to go back to her old routines. Her heart was yearning for something else, something that has always been her passion: singing.
