Poem 27: "PAUSE" - When you make time to stand and stare, you see the people around running their daily races burdened with care. When you make time to be still, you discover amidst the heat of locking fists with fate, a carefree breeze of mild chill. When you make time to experience each breath, instead of merely inhaling and exhaling, you realize the expansion of your heart's realm, and the deepening of its depth. Why don't we take a pause then? Poem 25: "SEASONS OF THE SOUL" - Summer: Shimmery golden sunshine, Fierce passion in the soul, Burning away the dead memories. Monsoon: Drenched in emotion, Quenched is the thirst of parched lands. Soul dances at the thumping of raindrops. Autumn: Letting go, Shaking off the memories. Falling in love or falling apart, but falling in place.
